How can I download the Nokia app?

Using the Nokia WiFi app, you can manage your Nokia WiFi Router and Beacons (Full-On WiFi customers only). The app allows you to control your Nokia WiFi network directly from your smartphone. You can share your guest network, restrict connections for specific devices, see the devices connected to your network, and adjust network settings.

To get the Nokia WiFi app, go to the Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS) and download and install it.

How to set up the Nokia app?

1) Download the Nokia WiFi mobile app – it’s available on both android and iOS.  

2) Open the Nokia WiFi app on your phone and get started 

Tap Get Started 

If the network is already set up (without using the app and /or by a technician) and this is the first time using the app,  be sure your mobile phone is connected to the WiFi network and tap Get Started to set up the network with the app.

3) Connect the app to the route device Log-in using the Username and Password printed on the back of your router. After the root device is found, you will be asked to join the network that is broadcasted from the root device. They network name and WiFi Key is on the sticker on the bottom of the device. The app will need a couple minutes to connect and "prepare" your device. You will then be asked to create an account.

Signing in.

How do I sign back in to my Nokia account?

If you have signed out of your Nokia WiFi app, you will need to sign back in again. 

Nokia WiFi accounts (email address and password) are available with some configurations. If you do not have an account you can sign in with admin credentials.

Sign In

You will only need to sign in to your account if you have previously signed out or are using a new version of the mobile app. In most cases you will be automatically signed in.

  1. Open the Nokia WiFi mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap Sign In.
  3. Type your Email Address and Password.
  4. Tap Sign in.

Note: If you do not remember your password, tap Forgot your password? and follow the instructions to reset your password.

How can I change my network name and password?

Tap Home Network card on the home screen of the Nokia WiFi Mobile App.

  1. Open your Nokia app.
  2. Tap the edit icon   on the bottom of the screen to get to the 'change Wi-Fi' screen. 
  3. Tap the pencil icon on the top right corner to edit the name or password of your Wi-Fi network and tap the check mark  at the top right corner to save  the changes.
Does G.Network come with parental controls and how do I set them up?

Using the Nokia app you can take control of your network by creating profiles for individual users and assigning their devices to them with individual rules and access.

You can also set different schedules and bedtimes to limit internet access at certain times of the day, and create a blacklist of websites to prevent specific unwanted content from being seen.

Set up a profile

  1. Tap Profiles at the bottom navigation on the home screen.
  2. In the Family Profiles screen, tap Create New (to set up a profile for the first time) or Add Family Profile (to set up an additional profile).
  3. Give the profile a name and select the devices that you would like to add to the profile.

For each profile:

  • Internet access can be enabled / disabled at any time.
  • Schedules can be setup for internet access to be enabled or disabled
  • A bedtime can be setup (no internet access)
  • Individual websites can be blocked

Note: By default, all devices are assigned to the Home profile. If you remove a device from any other profile, it will automatically be reassigned to the Home profile. Devices can only belong to one profile at a time.
