Head Office based, Flexible working with requirement to be in office at least 3 days per week Key purpose of role
<ul>
<li>Key role in small, professional team (6-10 people) setting and supporting delivery of critical Network Build work programmes across direct labour and partner work teams</li>
<li>Deliver sub-programme projects using project management, controls and scheduling skills in support of strategic CMO programme goals.</li>
<li>Support Project Managers in establishing performance management baselines, assessing progress vs planned, the cost impact of performance and any impact of change management.</li>
<li>Drive project performance against time, quality and cost objectives.</li>
<li>Support Project Manager to identify the optimum contract and build strategies for new projects and existing FTTP build workstreams.</li>
<li>Assist in creation and sustaining of relationships with the build partners, supporting the Project Manager to maintain regular and meaningful contact with the partners to foster mutual trust and cooperation between the parties.</li>
</ul>
What you&rsquo;ll do
<ul>
<li>Coordinate Weekly &amp; monthly delivery including dashboarding and reporting on budget, scope and resourcing (e.g crew numbers and productivity analysis) from project data.</li>
<li>Support build programmes in reviewing critical payment milestones, including the production of analytics and variance reports, work with Project Manager to assess and take corrective action where required</li>
<li>Support impact analysis of project schedule and scope changes</li>
<li>Support identification of opportunities for project acceleration, and proactively develop mitigation strategies with the Project Manager.</li>
<li>SLA tracking and reporting for stakeholders that interface with the CMO and relevant projects</li>
<li>Coordinate any operational and site dependencies delegated by the Project Manager</li>
<li>Support in the drafting and letting of Task/Work Orders as required by the Project Manager</li>
<li>Meet CMO SLA&rsquo;s and liaison with the commercial and contracts team to work in accordance with the main contract requirements</li>
<li>Support in the identification of relevant project milestones, activities and/or Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in line with the adopted project development and project delivery strategies</li>
<li>Support in the identification of risks, opportunities, dependencies and ensure these are formally documented as appropriate e.g. Risk Register.</li>
<li>Secure required data on project progress from the relevant stakeholders and assuring the validity of the data and augmenting in to reports for the Head of CMO and Project Manager</li>
<li>Support business case creation and budget setting</li>
</ul>
&nbsp; Skills, experience and qualifications (required) The post holder will have strong analytic ability and programme management experience, able to work in a collaborative way, prepared and comfortable to challenge and be challenged.&nbsp; Specific skills and experience includes:
<ul>
<li>Ability to make analytical decisions from data driven insights</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management and relationship building ability.</li>
<li>Versatile and able to work successfully in an environment with time-pressured deadlines</li>
<li>Enjoy being at the heart of operations and projects and keen to develop skills further in order to one-day become a Programme Manager.</li>
<li>A self-starter that can drive, manage and be accountable for their own performance and workload and be a fast learner in a dynamic and changing environment.</li>
<li>Experience of communicating complex technical solutions to internal stakeholders and partners</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others</li>
<li>Excellent organisational, planning, time management and budgetary skills</li>
</ul>
 Skills, experience and qualifications (preferred)
<ul>
<li>You have 2+ years experience in project management, controls and or planning within telecommunications sector.</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of Telecoms products &amp; services and networks</li>
<li>Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office programmes with focus on literacy excelling in Excel, Project and ideally working knowledge of PowerBI</li>
<li>A basic Knowledge of&nbsp; basic Programme and Project Management principles is a benefit.</li>
</ul>

Qualifications/experience
<ul>
<li>Degree qualified in any of the following: BEng (or above) or other STEM subjects, Project Management, Contract Management or Quantity Surveying. </li>
</ul>
