Accounts Payable Clerk
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Clerk position is accountable for monitoring and managing the timely processing and payment of supplier costs, creation of purchase orders, reconciling the bank accounts and management of the AP inbox.
What you'll do:
Management and issuing of purchase orders to requestioners and suppliers
Timely and accurate posting and matching of supplier invoices to purchase orders
Timely payment processing of supplier invoices
Timely preparation of supplier statement reconciliations with discrepancies resolved
Reconcile the bank accounts
Assisting with month end accounting
Compile information for auditors, as required
Assist the accounts payable manager & project accountants with any adhoc projects
Skills, experience and qualifications (required)
Extensive Accounts payable experience.
Direct experience of capital-intensive business desirable
Familiar with Excel/Google Sheets
Aptitude for accurately and reliably following detailed procedures
Ability to work to clear timetable, prioritise and manage own work
Fast, observant, organised and self-disciplined
Disciplined, excellent organiser, completer-finisher
Skills, experience and qualifications (preferred)
Salesforce or similar CRM experience desirable
Financial Force knowledge is desirable
